Translam Academy – Way To Success recently hosted a Scouts and Guides camp on 19th October 2023, which saw enthusiastic participation from students of Classes 4th to 9th and 11th. It was organised by “HINDUSTAN SCOUTS & GUIDES ASSOCIATION”. The event aimed to provide a platform for students to develop their leadership skills, teamwork, and survival skills, while also fostering a sense of community and collaboration among them.The camp featured a range of exciting activities and challenges. Students were given opportunities to learn essential survival skills, such as setting up a camp, starting a fire, and navigating through the wilderness. They were also taught the basics of first aid, map reading, and knot tying.Apart from these, the camp also had numerous team-building activities like group games, treasure hunts, and obstacle courses that encouraged students to work together and build camaraderie. Translam Academy – Way To Success organised International Girl Child Day to make students aware about the gender inequality faced by girls. The main objective of observing this day is to empower women and help them get their rights so that they can face challenges all over the world and fulfil their needs. School Principal Mr. Dheeraj Arya talked about issues affecting girls such as education, nutrition, child marriage and legal rights. A speech competition was organised for classes 9 to 12 on “Save girl child”. Group dance and Fancy dress competition was organised for Kindergarten students. #girlchild #girlchildday
“INTER HOUSE SPEECH COMPETITION” On the occasion of “International Girl Child Day” The school organised an inter house speech competition on the topic “SAVE GIRL CHILD” for the students of Class 9th to12th. They spoke on how girls are continuously doing great for the country, how they are making us proud. The aim of the activity was to enhance their confidence level and oratory skills along with this major concern. An awareness programme for scouts and guides has been conducted In the school assembly on 4 October, 2023. It was organised by “Hindustan Scouts & Guides Association”. Mr. Abhishek Mathur took the session enthusiastically and told the students about importance of Scouts and guides. It helps in building confidence and self esteem among the students. They will be going to learn important life-skills, team building, outdoor adventure, education and fun in this.
