“Diwali Celebration”
“DIWALI CELEBRATION”
Diwali means a row of lighted lamps. It is a festival of lights and every
Indian celebrates it with joy. During this festival, people light up and decorate their houses with great zeal and fervor. TRANSLAM ACADEMY organized an art & craft activity for classes 6th to 8th to engage students in the making of Hanging Decorative Craft and an “Inter House Rangoli Competition” For classes 9th to 12th .
Where as students of KG section Celebrated diwali in a fun way by dancing, skit and lighting diyas.
The activity instilled a feeling of achievement and pride in students and also enabled them to create a masterpiece to decorate
their abode.

“Halloween🎃👻🍬 “
Halloween is a fun festival for our children.
Ancient people believed that ghosts came back to Earth on Halloween. It is said that spirits of the dead came back to Earth in search of living bodies to repossess the homes where they were live. The celebration of Halloween is therefore associated with the idea of good fortune.To make our little ones aware about Halloween, the Pre-Primary were busied with activities typical of it, on 31st October,2023.The children came dressed as ghosts, witches, vampires, bats, etc. At School the children were shown pumpkins and how they are carved for Halloween. We also made Halloween candies. Evidently there much excitement all around.
A special ‘ spooky corner’ was created for the children too! Here every child who ‘ dared’ to step in got a tattoo and even got to listen to a ghost story!
“Inter School Debate Competition”
In order to develop oratory skills, develop an understanding of current topics and to provide varied experiences and exposure to the students, Translam Academy, Mawana participates in various Inter School Debate Competitions. Two of our students, Shivika Papneja (12 Humanities) and Pragya Nirman (12 Science) participated in the Inter School Debate Competition “Wizards of Words” held at Spring Dales Public School on 30 October ,2023.They spoke ‘For’ and ‘Against’ respectively on the topic, “Youth is living a reel life more than a real life”. Both the students were very confident and conversant with the topic. Their points were well articulated and the chain of thought was impeccable. They displayed well honed oratory skills and were the torch bearers for our school. We are glad to announce that they got 3rd position among various schools.

NAVRATRI & DUSSEHRA CELEBRATIONS
“NAVRATRI & DUSSEHRA CELEBRATIONS”
Translam Academy – Way To Success celebrated Navratri & Dussehra (1st to 12th classes) with a lot of fervor and ardor on 21 October 2023.
Celebration started with beautiful performances of Dandiya and Garba. There were an amazing skit on Ramayan also.
A huge effigy of Ravana with ten heads was burnt after the RamYatra. The students enjoyed the serene atmosphere.The Students were attired in the costumes of Lord Ram, Lakshmana, Sita Mata, Hanumaan ji and wanar sena.
The primary objective of the entire show was to convince the students that no matter how intelligent a person is, his pride will be the reason of his collapse. They were informed that Ravana was basically very intelligent. His knowledge was equal to the knowledge of ten heads. His ten heads are symbolic of his great wisdom.
The Principal Mr. Dheeraj Arya addressed the students and told them that the purpose to organize this celebration was actually to make the students aware of the of message i.e the triumph of virtue over the vice. He congratulated the teachers and the students for the coming festival season.
SCOUTS and GUIDES CAMP (DAY-3 Final day)
As you all are aware about our 3-days Scouts & Guides camp. Today was the last day of the camp.
Today, students learned to make tents and made their tents nicely. They decorated their tents and they were given different states to represent in which they prepared different food items, dance forms, costumes, and much more.
Overall, the Scouts and Guides camp at Translam Academy – Way To Success was a resounding success and left a lasting impression on the students who participated. It was an excellent opportunity for them to learn essential life skills, build friendships, and create cherished memories that will stay with them forever. Chief Guest of the event was Mr. Sachin Goyal, Senior Journalist (dainik jagran, Hastinapur).
Speaking on the occasion, the school principal praised the students’ enthusiasm and participation and highlighted the importance of such camps in shaping young minds. He also expressed his gratitude to the Scouts and Guides team for organizing such an insightful event.
