CLUBS @ TRANSLAM

Science Club

The TRANSLAM Science Club is a forum where students are encouraged to wonder about the ways of nature and to pursue them. It is a fact that we can learn and remember things better if we do it and practice rather than just read them. This basic principle is involved in the formation of the “Science Club” meant for ‘learning by doing’. Our School Science club channelizes the energies of our students and makes use of their skills and talents, which satisfy their instincts and urges and helps in their overall personality development.
This Club bridge in-school and out-of-school learning and foster the development of skills, such as experimentation, critical thinking, and problem solving. By giving our members a supportive environment to explore science, we are also building more confident learners and educators.

Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat Club

EBSB club of TRANSLAM has been created under the ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’ initiative of the Government of India. Under this initiative, the States/UTs of the nation are paired with each other. In sync with this Government initiative, we too have been exploring our partner states Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh at various class levels. The states organize various activities and festivals for promoting the rich culture and heritage of their paired States/UTs. This gives the opportunity to appreciate the diversity and promote the national integrity at the same time.

Heritage Club

“They say a person without the knowledge of their past, origin and culture is like a tree with no roots.”
The Heritage Club of TRANSLAM aims at building awareness and concern about our rich cultural environment through Heritage Walks, visits to museums, quizzes, presentation, etc.
