Astronomy Camp & Felicitation Ceremony

Organized by iMaven Astronomy Academy with an inspiring blend of creativity, enthusiasm, and academic excellence, a grand Astronomy Camp and Felicitation Ceremony was held at Translam Academy, Mawana under SkyBridge program for the Astronomy students of the academic year 2024-25. This event marked a significant milestone for the Astronomy Academy, infusing fresh energy and zeal into its community of talented young space explorers.

Astronomy Camp: Soaring with Knowledge and Creativity

The day began with an engaging Astronomy Camp, where students participated in a variety of activities designed to unravel the mysteries of the cosmos and ignite their passion for space. Under the expert guidance of iMaven Astronomy, these activities provided students with opportunities to embrace creative thinking and draw inspiration from the infinite expanse of the universe, while nurturing their interest in mathematics and science. The camp featured the following sessions:

Moon’s Various Phases:

Students explored the different phases and cycles of the Moon, gaining insight into its dynamic nature and understanding its effects on Earth.

Space Stories:

Enthralling tales of space not only sparked the imagination of the young explorers but also illuminated the scientific principles behind various cosmic phenomena.

Star Navigation:

Participants navigated the night sky, successfully identifying Polaris (the North Star) and appreciating its significance in celestial navigation.

Space-themed Artwork and Models:

Students showcased their creative talents by crafting vibrant artworks and models. Exhibits included models based on rocket launches, lunar missions, satellite deployments, and spacecraft, which captivated the audience. Winners for the first ( ) and second ( ) prizes were announced.

Poster Making Competition:

Nav Batra from Class 8 secured the first prize, while Dhananjay from Class 8 received the second prize.

Estimation Activity:

In this innovative exercise, students estimated the width of a river, blending mathematical skills with astronomical measurement techniques.

The objective of all these activities was to spark a deep and enduring interest in space, encouraging students to continually soar high in their quest to uncover the universe’s mysteries, while also cultivating their passion for science and mathematics.

Excellence Awards Distribution and Felicitation Ceremony

The highlight of the day was the Felicitation Ceremony, during which the outstanding achievements of students and facilitators were duly recognized. Dr. Amit Kumar Singh, Founder of iMaven Astronomy, personally distributed certificates and medals, applauding the hard work and dedication of all the participants. In his address, Mr. Dheeraj Arya, Principal of Translam Academy, emphasized that the Astronomy Camp and Felicitation Ceremony was not merely an event but a transformative experience that rekindled the passion and enthusiasm for space among the students. The astronomy activities, creative sessions, and the spirit of exploration instilled a renewed zeal for learning and discovery in every participant. He affirmed that the academy will continue to provide an excellent environment that seamlessly integrates academic excellence with innovative exploration, promising a bright future for all aspiring astronomers.

He concluded with an inspiring message to the students:

“Keep your eyes on the skies, for the universe is boundless!”

Janmashtami Celebration

Janmashtami Celebration

At Translam Academy – Way To Success  Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated by the staff and students on Saturday, August 24, 2024. Janmashtami is celebrated as a symbol of the end of darkness and rooting out of the evil forces.

A splendid and colourful performance by the Students of KG, depicting the birth of Lord Krishna with a message of victory of good over evil. Students truly communicated the message that “Every moment of life is worth a Celebration. The more you praise and celebrate life, the more there is in life to celebrate.”

Children came dressed in ethnic wear as Radha and Krishna. The presentation depicted the varied images of life from birth to manhood transporting one to the world of splendour, colour, myth and legend. It was a beautiful presentation with joyous melody and twirling dancers.

An “Inter House Dance Competition on Janmaashtami theme” Was also organised. Students performed majestically. It was a beautiful day.

Mock Parliament Session Activity Was Conducted By The Translamians.

You don’t have to see the staircase. Just take your first step in faith, give your best and the success will be yours. Maintaining the same success opinion, a “MOCK PARLIAMENT SESSION” activity was conducted by the Translamians. The students learnt how the parliament works by conducting a mock session. Students were assigned with roles of various ministers belonging to different parties. Students prepared themselves according to their roles and discussed and debated on the hot topics.With this students learnt about the role of MPs and functioning of Parliament .

Teej Celebration

The festival of Teej celebrates the beauty of nature, the arrival of rains and greenery surrounded by social activities, rituals and customs. KG Students of Translam Academy – Way To Success  celebrated Haryali Teej with great joy and fervour on the school campus. Kids came dressed in traditional Punjabi dresses. The campus was decorated with swings and items related to Teej. A giddha performance was also given by girls. Addressing the kids, teachers briefed about the importance of the day and mentioned that Teej was primarily a festival celebrated by girls and women with songs and dances mainly in the northern and western parts of India.

We are pleased to inform you that our school principal, Mr. Dheeraj Arya Sir, was honored with the Inspirational Educator Award by Silverzone for his exceptional work in education. The award function, held in Delhi, saw the award being handed over by renowned journalist Mr. Punya Prasoon Bajpai. Other distinguished guests at the event included Mr. Sandeep Marwah, President of the Asian Academy of Film & Television and an acclaimed film producer, director, educator, and journalist, along with Mr. Madan Karki, an esteemed Indian lyricist and screenwriter.

SUMMER VACATION RINK RACE ROLLER SKATING CHAMPIONSHIP

This is to inform you that Meerut District Roller Skating Association has organised a Championship on 19th May,2024 for boys and girls in various age group categories.It was held at “THE AARYAN SCHOOL, NH-58, JATOLI BYPASS, MEERUT”.
There were about 200 participants from 15 different Schools. Our five Students got medals in different categories:-
Aditi Tomar (Under-6) Gold Medal 🏅
Devansh (Under-6) Bronze Medal 🥉
Rakshit Siradhana (Under-10) Bronze Medal  🥉
Samar (Under-12) Silver Medal 🥈
Mohsin (Under-12) Silver Medal 🥈
It is a great achievement for us as well as our champions. Mr. Dheeraj Arya Sir (Principal) and Mr. Seemant Jain Sir (Director) congratulated the students and gave them blessings to do great in future also. It was possible only under the training and guidance of Mr. Ankit Gautam, Skating Coach (Gold Medalist State Level).
