To sensitize the children to become the crusaders for environmental conservation, Translam Academy – Way To Success organised the โEarth Day Celebrationโ.
A special assembly was conducted where the students performed an act and shared their views about the importance of saving Earth and the measures that can be adopted to save our planet. Students of Kindergarten section dressed up in green and blue colours and also showcased themselves as natural resources of our earth. A hand-out was given to the students based on the significance of our planet and the steps to keep our environment clean and green. The children were made aware that โEVERY DAY IS AN EARTH DAYโ and the purpose of celebrating Earth Day is to keep our grass green and our skies blue with more trees and less pollution.
Van Mahotsav or Forest festivalโ, is an annual one-week tree-planting festival in India which is celebrated in the first week of July. Pre- Primary students celebrated this week in a grand manner.
The celebration was kick-started by planting saplings in the school play ground and then these tiny tots made posters on save trees and how trees are important.
Mr.Dheeraj Arya ,Principal, spoke to the children on how cutting trees can cause an imbalance in the environment and how each and every person contributes to the well-being of a tree, how the people living in the urban areas can help protect the flora and fauna of a place by bringing a slight change in their lifestyle.

Students of all classes brought their thoughts and emotions to life through their essays and poems on โMaking a Green World โ One Tree at a Timeโ and by planting saplings at different places.
EARTH DAY CELEBRATIONS For the past 40 years, Earth Day has been celebrated around the world to call attention to some of our most pressing environmental and social problems, including climate change, biodiversity loss, and dwindling natural resources.
The day started with a beautiful message where students were reminded of 5 actions towards safe earth. The whole school, whether it was the students, support staff, teachers, guards, admin staff or helpers took part in this endeavour and initiative. Each one of them took a pledge to save Mother Earth by doing simple doable actions. Our continuing effort in our daily life will make this beautiful planet thrive.
