In order to develop oratory skills, develop an understanding of current topics and to provide varied experiences and exposure to the students, Translam Academy, Mawana participates in various Inter School Debate Competitions. Two of our students, Shivika Papneja (12 Humanities) and Pragya Nirman (12 Science) participated in the Inter School Debate Competition “Wizards of Words” held at Spring Dales Public School on 30 October ,2023.They spoke ‘For’ and ‘Against’ respectively on the topic, “Youth is living a reel life more than a real life”. Both the students were very confident and conversant with the topic. Their points were well articulated and the chain of thought was impeccable. They displayed well honed oratory skills and were the torch bearers for our school. We are glad to announce that they got 3rd position among various schools. Congratulations to both of you!! 🥳🥳
“NAVRATRI & DUSSEHRA CELEBRATIONS” Translam Academy – Way To Success celebrated Navratri & Dussehra (1st to 12th classes) with a lot of fervor and ardor on 21 October 2023. Celebration started with beautiful performances of Dandiya and Garba. There were an amazing skit on Ramayan also. A huge effigy of Ravana with ten heads was burnt after the RamYatra. The students enjoyed the serene atmosphere.The Students were attired in the costumes of Lord Ram, Lakshmana, Sita Mata, Hanumaan ji and wanar sena.
The primary objective of the entire show was to convince the students that no matter how intelligent a person is, his pride will be the reason of his collapse. They were informed that Ravana was basically very intelligent. His knowledge was equal to the knowledge of ten heads. His ten heads are symbolic of his great wisdom. The Principal Mr. Dheeraj Arya addressed the students and told them that the purpose to organize this celebration was actually to make the students aware of the of message i.e the triumph of virtue over the vice. He congratulated the teachers and the students for the coming festival season.
As you all are aware about our 3-days Scouts & Guides camp. Today was the last day of the camp. Today, students learned to make tents and made their tents nicely. They decorated their tents and they were given different states to represent in which they prepared different food items, dance forms, costumes, and much more. Overall, the Scouts and Guides camp at Translam Academy – Way To Success was a resounding success and left a lasting impression on the students who participated. It was an excellent opportunity for them to learn essential life skills, build friendships, and create cherished memories that will stay with them forever. Chief Guest of the event was Mr. Sachin Goyal, Senior Journalist (dainik jagran, Hastinapur). Speaking on the occasion, the school principal praised the students’ enthusiasm and participation and highlighted the importance of such camps in shaping young minds. He also expressed his gratitude to the Scouts and Guides team for organizing such an insightful event.
As you all are aware about our 3-days Scouts & Guides camp. Today was the second day of the camp and all the students were more excited for all the activities of the day. The camp featured a range of exciting activities and challenges. Students were given opportunities to learn essential survival skills, such as setting up a camp, starting a fire, and navigating through the wilderness. They were also taught the basics of first aid, map reading, and knot tying. Apart from these, the camp also had numerous team-building activities like group games, treasure hunts, and obstacle courses that encouraged students to work together and build camaraderie. The event proved to be an enriching and enjoyable experience for all participants.
On 20th October 2023, Translam Academy – Way To Success KG wing celebrated Navratri and Dussehra festival with great zeal, enthusiasm and spiritualism to commemorate and invoke the blessings of Goddess Durga in her various forms. On this religious occasion of Navratri and Dussehra, the students presented a skit on the theme VICTORY OF GOOD OVER EVIL. The tiny tots of our school attired in traditional dresses. They performed Dandiya and Garba beautifully. Also showcased their talent by performing an act on “RAMAYAN”. The event was a learning experience for all of us and enriched us about our rich Indian culture and values. School Principal Mr. Dheeraj Arya encouraged kids to celebrate festivals religiously and also told them importance of our culture. We wish all our students and their loved ones a very Happy and Prosperous Festive Season!!!
