DANCE- A connection between body, heart and soul.

The School, under the aegis of SPIC MACAY, hosted a delightful Odissi dance performance by the celebrity artist, star performer, classical Indian dancer and choreographer Shri Manoranjan Nayak Ji, who has also been the recipient of Swarn Padak and several other prestigious awards.

The programme started with the traditional lighting of the lamp and a warm welcome of all the guests by the School Principal Mr Dheeraj Arya Sir . Shri Manoranjan Nayak ji was accompanied and ably supported by other musical artists (Flutist, vocalist and traditional instruments artist).

Shri Manoranjan Nayak ji used his inordinate skill in the dance form as force multiplier for the widest range of dance issues in expressing the abstract notions of joy, beauty, values, aspirations, myth and spirituality. In his effort to ‘en-dance the universe’, he engaged the audience in a strategic range of dance-related activities: performing, teaching, singing and speaking to new youth audiences. His expressions, gestures and energy emanated kept one and all spellbound throughout. His deep and composite understanding of the art form won his many a fan @translam.

The festival of Teej celebrates the beauty of nature, the arrival of rains and greenery surrounded by social activities, rituals and customs. KG Students of Translam Academy – Way To Success  celebrated Haryali Teej with great joy and fervour on the school campus. Kids came dressed in traditional Punjabi dresses. The campus was decorated with swings and items related to Teej. A giddha performance was also given by girls. Addressing the kids, teachers briefed about the importance of the day and mentioned that Teej was primarily a festival celebrated by girls and women with songs and dances mainly in the northern and western parts of India.
