The National Sports Day of India was celebrated in Translam Academy – Way To Success in Tribute to the legendary hockey player Major Dhyan Chand. The students were told about the importance of ‘Sports’ and the relevance of National Sports Day. On this occasion, all the students from Pre-school to XII participated in various sports activities with great enthusiasm and zeal. The little ones had fun while indulging in different activities like throw and catch, football,etc . The children learnt a lot about true sportsmanship and the value of playing games. Branch level group song competition was organized today on 28 August at “Bharat Vikas Parishad”, Meerut Shikhar Branch at Maharishi Dayanand School, Meerut. In which 5 schools of the district participated and Translam Academy, Mawana got the first position. Now on October 8, the team of Translam Academy will participate representing the branch at the provincial level. All the participants were awarded certificates and the school was awarded a trophy. The long jump is one of the world’s oldest sporting events. Translam Academy – Way To Success organized a Rakhi making competition for Grade 1 to 8 on 26 August. Students displayed their talents and made various colourful Rakhis that exhibited their originality and creative little minds. The principal materials which were used included bindis, mirrors, sparkles, threads, ribbons, stickers, beads, etc.
The sole purpose of arranging such a kind of event was to explore their creative minds and bring out the hidden potential of the students that lies within. In addition to this, it also served as a platform for the rightful exposure of the students by overcoming the fear of being judged throughout the performance.
